Upper Macungie attorney expands by starting real estate business

One year after graduating from law school, Gladys Wiles joined the Law Offices of Jerry A. Snyder in South Whitehall Township as an associate attorney.
In 2003, she became a partner as the firm became Snyder & Wiles PC. Shortly thereafter, the practice moved to its existing location on Main Street in Fogelsville. In 2013, when Snyder retired, Wiles took over the practice – and since then it has continued to grow.
So much so that on Wednesday night, Wiles announced that the firm has started its own real estate company – to add more services to its probate, real estate and title insurance practice.
Dream Homes PA Realty Co. was formed to provide all things real estate to its clients, Wiles said this morning.
Wiles said she decided to start an independent company from the ground up rather than buying a real estate franchise.
“We believe our model of cooperative service based on a solid foundation of teamwork will enhance the value of services to our clients,” she said.
The law firm has a staff of four to support Wiles, who focuses on personal injury cases, and a family law, divorce, custody and support attorney she hired in 2013, Merna Hoffman.
“We are very grateful for the support of our clients that have given us the opportunities to grow and evolve,” said Wiles, the 2016 Woman of the Year for the YWCA of Bethlehem.
Dream Homes PA is in its infancy with Wiles as the broker and one real estate agent, and is looking to expand, Wiles said.
